thinking a lot of how my friends and I have resorted to to slowly transition into a makeshift sign language with more so ASL influences and I really don’t know if its because ISL (wbsl) is a constant reminder of a life of an average disengaged UC person obsessed with being a British caricature rather than being able to speak your mind.
Or if it’s just easier to sign with one hand and use a language that’s fairly “in” with the way we speak (ASL) if all there is to be now is an American at heart
the Bhusukupada translation you posted is so beautiful but I can’t find any versions that are similar stylistically 🤍 did you write the translated part yourself?
